Commissioning a piece of Jewellery
Many jewellers will make to order and if you are looking for something special take a drawing or photograph to the jeweller. Alternatively specialist jewellers will be more than happy to talk through your ideas and draw up a sketch on paper and agree specifications in terms of the size and quality. It is advisable to keep a copy of what has been agreed and some jewellers also offer the additional service of providing a computer generated design on a subsequent visit before the actual item of jewellery is made. Many other services are available such as resizing, repairs and restoration of jewellery.
