CCTV has now been installed in the Jewellery Quarter and covers Ludgate Hill, St Paul’s Square, Caroline Street, Warstone Lane, Vyse Street and Frederick Street.  The CCTV will be monitored 24 hours per day by the Police and should help make the place safer although, in any event, crime rates are far lower than the City Centre.
