Jazz Bandstand in St Paul’s Square

Reading Time: < 1 minute

In preparation for the 30th Birmingham International Jazz and Blues Festival, a special bandstand has been erected in St Paul’s Square.

Talented musicians from all over the world will be stepping up to the platform to preform electrifying jazz music in all different styles ranging from ragtime to dixieland. Gifted bands and musicians will be preforming at noon for five days this week in St Paul’s Square (21st – 25th July), as well as a special evening performance from The Broombusters at 5pm Friday.

St Paul’s Churchyard won’t be the only Jewellery Quarter location getting involved with the jazz festivities, as musicians will also be playing at The Jam House, The Lord Clifden, The Red Lion and The Drop Forge.

Don’t forget to tweet your photos and videos of the jazz fun to @JQDTbirmingham.
