Resident Involvement
City Living Gardening Fact Sheet
We produced a City Living Gardening Fact sheet, which was distributed to the Jewellery Quarter Neighbourhood Forum, with guidelines on how to make the most of a balcony or terrace. To view a copy of the fact sheet click here.
Adopt a Grave Initiative
The vast majority of people living in the Quarter do not have their own garden or green space and in conjunction with the Jewellery Quarter Neighbourhood Forum and Friends of Key Hill & Warstone Lane Cemeteries we have recently launched an initiative to Adopt a Grave.
Residents have been invited to adopt one of the many memorials, which have no known surviving relatives to take care of them.
Apart from the modest cost of buying a few flowers or bulbs, there are no other costs involved and supporting this scheme is a great way of not only helping the community but getting some fresh air and exercise.
