Louise Mary Designs
From her studio in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, Louise creates handmade jewellery and silverware in shapes inspired by nature.
Her work has been exhibited widely in the UK and has been nominated and received many awards, the most prestigious being Runner-Up in the Thomas Lyte Modern Heritage Award in 2008. In addition to the pieces she creates for exhibition and sale, Louise works to commission.
Her jewellery features two main collections, these are ‘Folded Leaf’ and ‘Flower,’ both of which draw inspiration from the plant world. Her collection continues to evolve and in addition to the pieces she creates for exhibition and sale, Louise makes many one-off designs. Most pieces are made in silver, but Louise also works to commission in all precious metals including gold and platinum. Pieces are designed uniquely for individual clients, and often personalised with details such as engraving.
