Commercial Recycling not only benefits the environment, but could also save your business money. There are many private firms operating in Birmingham who can assist in recycling of: -

- Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and IT disposal.
Brumcan is a local recycling enterprise, which was set up in 1991 by Friends of the Earth and a group of dedicated volunteers with the aim of offering integrated solutions to waste management. It is a non-profit, charitable organisation and any surplus income derived from their operations is used to:-
1. Raise environmental awareness through the philosophy of waste as a resource;
2. Fund educational and community outreach work with local schools, youth and community groups;
3. Provide good quality training for local people who have been long term unemployed or who have special needs, to help with skills development and social inclusion.
