Doing Business in the Quarter
The Quarter is home to around 1,500 businesses of which just under a third are still jewellery or jewellery related in an area which still is proud to make around 40% of UK jewellery. However, more and more businesses are moving into the area with many from the creative and professional sectors. It is estimated that over half of the architects registered in Birmingham now operate out of the Jewellery Quarter.
There are a number of clusters in terms of Business Centres and for those looking to locate in the Quarter please access the Property section. Additionally, there is a Jewellery Quarter Association, which is a lobbying force for local businesses and holds regular briefing breakfasts.
